All of my Facebook ads INSTANTLY DISAPPROVED :/

And I mean ALL of them. All 80+ ads instantly disapproved...

I'm not talking ads that genuinely violate the TOS. I'm talking sponsored stories for god's sake. And no, my account hasn't been banned

I'm not given any reason whatsoever for them being disapproved. No red box above the ad in Ads Manager. No explanation by email

What's going on? Has anyone else experienced this?

I submitted some ads for affiliate links last week. I went into it understanding that my account could potentially be banned, so fair game if Facebook had banned me. But why have I not been banned? Why instead is it automatically disapproving all ads?

And what should I do now?

Is it just for one or two pages or one or two websites? If your account is not banned, sometimes individual pages/URLs can be banned. Try making ads for a different page.

Thanks banwork, I hadn't thought to try that!

Just wanted to make sure that if Facebook identify that you're screwing around, they'll ban your account straight up right? They won't just disapprove all of your ads instead?

      Thanks again

You may also need to use a URL shortener to mask where your link is going. You can google to find one. Facebook can be very finicky!

      Thanks adpippin!

Let me try making some ads for some pages/links I haven't advertised before. Fingers crossed they'll be approved

Presumably Facebook has some kind of blacklist for pages/websites that are up to no good. Just surprised that my account hasn't been banned if that's the case

I'll report back in case someone else ever has the same issue!

I am having the same trouble. It doesn't matter what I try to do all ads continue to get disapproved.

Even ads that I have been running to FB pages for months have now been disapproved with no reason attached.

I finally got a reply from an email last week that said it was Facebook's error and they reinstated all ads only to wake up next morning and all ads disapproved again!

        Extremely fustrating!

I am in the process of deleting all campaigns and starting again.

I don't think it'll be a good idea. This may cause a permanent ban of his account.

I think it is a program. Once you get disapproved for an ad, you must stop for a few days. If you try submitting any more ads immediately after a disapproval, they get disapproved instantly. Can't be human.

Don't they want to make money??

I'm curious to know if the destination page were a FB fan page that something like this would not be an issue.

Could it be due to the 20% text rule? You can only have a max. of 20% text in any images used with ads.

You should be sending them to an opt in not direct affiliate link. If your linking to a clickbank product most offers are now being consider junk by google and facebook.

      Hi all. An update

This problem was completely resolved. But only after hammering away at Facebook on every contact box and Facebook email address I could find. I wasn't given any reason as to why the ads were being automatically disapproved

Given I was posting affiliate links for a little while (either via a Facebook page, landing page or direct via social media bar), one could assume my account was flagged or that my ads had been reported. Equally however it could've just been a glitch on Facebook's end

Anyway my advice to anyone with the same problem is to contact Facebook in every way you can and do it several times a day. Keep hammering until someone gets back to you. And don't let other people tell you it's not possible to contact Facebook because it absolutely is

Don't be sad. Try again two days later. However in my experience, directlinking using leads to ads disapproval.

    1) facebook has associated the domain inside your link as something scammy and against their TOS. When they detect the same domain, their script will disapprove it immdiately.

    2) Geo-redirect. Facebook is located in USA and they cannot see anything if the offer is meant for someone in the middle of the pacific ocean. you need to have your own redirect script inside your own sever that direct them to USA page, once approved, switch to UK. I have the script on my blog, you can go and get it from them free.

Approval of the ads on the facebook through Ads campaign does involve the proper usage of the Facebook guidelines, Facebook want its users to adhere to the guideline of the Facebook whenever, you are making the post. The guideline varies over the regions & it is also limited by the condition of the specific geographic.
You have to make sure that the posting that you are making should be vulgar or anything that is anti-social.which might create nuisance among your audience.

The pictures and the content of the ads matters.
So change the content and the picture and you may get your ads approved.
Don't use any clocking or any kind of redirection.
    Try changing your domain.
