Link flagged as spam on Facebook

Hello everyone!

The link I want to share (my website) on facebook is always coming up as spam all the time. When I'm trying to make a feedback on this, I never get an answer. Does it happened to anyone else?

I've never spammed the link and the facebook page belonging to the website is also popular without any claims. I just don't understand what's the problem.

Do you know what should I do?

If you mean that the link is popular, that can always be a reason why.

Just because you haven't posted a link often, doesn't million millions of others haven't

You can always create a domain, and forward /mask the link to it

Are you trying to post the website link on your own Facebook page? Or, are you posting in a Facebook group? It's possible others have spammed Facebook with the site link and picked up a bad reputation for the site.

I have a webpage and also a facebook fan page for that domain (http://www.facebook.com/horoszkopteszt and HoroszkópTeszt.hu | Teszt)
but whenever I direct traffic from facebook to my website a frame appears on my site that the website is spam. If you just copy-paste my url to a message on facebook or click on the link on the facebook fan page, you can see that.

Lokahi I never posted my link into groups yet.

I was thinking maybe a competitor is trying to sabotage you by posting around Facebook with your link, whether on pages or groups and this happens online in very competitive niches.

Hi, The same is happening to me. I've been publishing it on Facebook for 54 days and, suddenly, they flag it as spam. And I have no idea how to post my blog entry on my Facebook wall. Sometimes FB block some domains for no reason. Not even site been reported. Have a nice day.

Lokahi maybe you are right. It's true that it is a competitive niche but to be honest I think I'm not a big competitor yet. Either way, do you know a solution for this? If I try to unflag, auto message comes that thay will shortly answer me, but they never do it
    Thanks!

As someone that has got their entire domain manually banned from Facebook, I can give you some help to work around spam flagging!

    1) You can't fight a spam report on Facebook. One hope you have is to use TrendMicro at Trend Micro Site Safety Center. You can get your URL unflagged for spam here sometimes. Other times you can't! This works best if your URL got hit for "phishing".
    2) The best solution is to make your own URL that is NOT FORWARDED. Forwarded URLs often will still get the same block as the original. If you manage to get your URL flagged, you can get all of your forwarded URLs flagged too even if you change them.
    3) You can also iframe your website on a Facebook page app or use a custom LeadPage tab.

If you are wondering how I got my entire URL manually banned from Facebook, I did it by showing ads in mobile apps over Facebook HQ and in the surrounding areas near Menlo Park in California for getting 100,000 Facebook likes. Within 24 hours of the ads starting, they banned my entire main URL (email address included) which was not even what I was advertising. They also went and removed my Facebook page's cover photo which showed my page insights.

Thanks for helping me! I can't believe, that this is the real process of unflagging my website. I would never find out on my own.
