How to target Internet Marketers?

How do I really target internet marketers using facebook ads?
I'm seeing lots of IM related ads and I know I'm being targeted by other marketers..

So the problem is, how do I also target others?

I know I can target using precise interest (which is fanpages they liked)...
also by creativing custom audience in power editor, but how and where do I gather the custom audience data from?

Please help!

      I use a product that creates a CSV file of Facebook user ids tied to certain pages, posts, events or keywords. These can be uploaded to create custom audiences.

    Ha, ha, I am targeting you on FB.

    I don't use Power Editor but target using precise interest, age, and countries. Try to keep the target audience below 1m and try different images, headlines and text.

      When you say Gurus, Books, Programs, are you referring to their fanpages? and target those fanpages as #precise interests?

      So you enter relevant precise interests (such as relevant fanpages) to select from the crowd, and limit by the age & countries?



      And do you find CPM better or CPC? Sidebar or newsfeed?

    It depends on what you are trying to market to them. If you can offer a product that would assist them in there everyday needs then it would be a hit. Just make sure its relevant

    Yes I was referring to targeting the fan pages. I actually go a step further and use the Power Editor to target those users that are actively engaging the content on the page. I'm not interested in the person that gave IM a try 2 years ago.
