What does it mean if the recommended CPM is $0.12 ??

The Facebook form says: Suggested bid: $0.05-$0.43 CAD

The form also asks for the "max bid per 1,000 impressions" and suggests $0.12 but is that the price I'd pay for EACH impression or for 1000 of them???

12 cents for 1000 impressions is very cheap!!

    Yes, that's what they're saying. I generally go for the CPC though. You can always try it for the low end suggested price and see if it works.

      I gave two options though so I'm not sure which one you are saying yes to. Is it that price Per impression OR per 1000 impressions?

    If it says maximum bid per 1,000 impressions, then you pay your 12 cents for 1,000 impressions, not just 1.

    yes this means 12 cents for 1000 impressions. by default FB ads are CPM ( cost per 1000 impressions).

    What makes you think 12 cents for 1000 impressions is cheap?

    Its the price you would pay for 1000 impressions or whatever the price is per 1000 impressions, it varies, you could pay more per CPM to get better results.

      The results that you get will determine if 12 cents is cheap: if it takes 4000 impressions to get a click then it's not cheap. It all depends who are the people who view the ad.
