CENSORED and BANNED 9/11 VIDEO

Just some of the responses I have been getting from my latest short film, "THE JUMPER" (which was censored and then banned from Facebook, DailyMotion, and a few others) that I wanted to share. They are all varied and diverse, and I have been very happy with the response.

"With her signature cinematic style, Jamie Leigh peppers the viewer with a barrage of images interspersed with images of herself connecting directly with the audience through her disarming and all knowing gaze. In previous videos she has been adorned with various jewelry, makeup and messages. This outward manifestation of her inner feelings takes a dark turn here as she is seen with grotesque head wounds, consistent with the ghastly reality being shown.

She is the sage observer of humanity and arbiter of truth in a world of phoniness and false narratives; an old soul wrapped in a fashion model package raging against tyranny over the individual."

"I was finally able to watch online. It hurt on a visceral level. Made me nauseous."

"Insightful and thought provoking short film..."

"...have you been getting any feedback about the content of the video and what it stands for; or is it brain dead people telling you how beautiful you look with blood all over your face like a 9/11 victim, and how cool the effects you did are?"

"I support you and I think whatever you create is always inspiring, makes people think and teaches them, which is an amazing talent you have, however judging from the title, I can't watch your latest project because if it is what I think it is, it's about the people that jumped from the trade center on 9/11? ...I am extremely sensitive to all things related to this event and even writing this is making me feel sick, however I felt a strong need to explain to you why I haven't liked or shared your work. Hope you understand."

"Can't watch it. My blood still boils over 9/11."

"Great job. Very well done. And I'm not one to like artsy stuff."

"At first, probably like most, there was no way I would watch this, but then I stopped and questioned myself and asked, what am I afraid of seeing? Am I more afraid to see the truth of something, or is it something else?"

"I think people who turn away from this one are missing the point. If you pay attention, there is actually a very positive message towards the end and is incredibly inspiring."

"Anything that generates the kind of reaction that something like this does, is successful because it hits a nerve with people. They either love it or hate it. They can look or turn away. The one thing they can't deny is; in this you presented authentic truth, and there is nothing more frightening to some people. Very well done."
