Question on creating a Group in FB

Hi
I m a newbie in IM and just registered a domain, so i m looking to create a group for it in FB. Should i name the group the same as the domain ?
eg. www.facebook.com/mynewdomain.com or can i name it like www.facebook.com/My New Domain
I m always trying to get the best SEO results on this

    For SEO I recommend a Facebook page not a Facebook group... Those rank in search a lot better... Also don't put .com just use the keyword you are going for as the name of the facebook page...

      What if they create both a page and a group? Sometimes groups wind up with more interaction. Any thoughts? (Wondering for myself as well!)

    pages rank better, but as someone already mentioned, u can have both, a page and a group, and see how it goes

    FB pages are good for ranking. But if you want to build a vibrant audience that you can engage, send to your website and generate leads from, you should create a group.

    I think it would also depend on what your niche is and what you want to achieve for your website. For community interaction and leads, I'd go with community. For sales, I'd go with the page.
