Facebook ads vs Twitter ads

Every one are using Facebook ads because they are easy to use and allow you high targeting.

Twitter is offering same thing. You can promote your profile to get more followers or you can promote your tweet to get more engagement.

What do you think is better Facebook or Twitter ads and what on the end pays out more?

It depends of course what your objectives are. If you want to raise your Klout score, it seems Twitter ads are more successful to do it simply but Facebook ads are easier to do to push the limits. If you want to get web traffic, Facebook clicks tend to be cheaper but Twitter has some much more specific options than what Facebook offers. If you want to improve your SEO, twitter ads combined with an exact match website plus a lot of retweets is an awesome recipe to jump straight to the top of even competitive keywords. If you want to get more leads, I would test both Facebook and Twitter to see what works the best. While Facebook will allow nearly anyone to run ads, Twitter requires you have somewhat of an established following first. Some companies can only run ads in the US and the real potential in Twitter for low cost engagement are worldwide ads. If you just want to promote your account rather than your content, Facebook is much better at increasing fans in a cost effective way for unestablished brands. If you just want to promote your content, it is much easier to promote good tweets and get retweets than it is to promote a post and get shares on Facebook.

I am personally leaning towards Twitter ads, I think Facebook ads are targeted but are not as effective.

Facebook is a place to get targeted followers and subscribers from your local area and Twitter is a good place to send out short messages that might not really reach their targeted audience.

Facebook ads are one of the few things working for us these days. I've had direct success in several different campaigns, with several different products/niches on Facebook. I'm still waiting for a good case study on Twitter. I don't see Twitter ads as a means of selling directly, more of a way larger companies will supplement their branding and name awareness efforts.

Another one to be keeping an eye out for is when Pinterest launches sponsored pins. That is going to be huge for ecommerce.

Hello, I give you key specifications why both are best for your campaign.

    Advertising with Facebook
A key advantage of Facebook when it comes to marketing is their advertising offer. Their Facebook Ads allow you to get a lot of targeted visitors and increase the number of followers that your page has. You can also bring these followers directly to your website, sales page, blog, portfolio etc. Their ad tools make it easy for you to control your budget and pay per 1,000 impression or per click. You can also choose who will see these ads by using many of their filtering tools. You can select:

    • The desired location of your audience by country, town or postal code.
    • The desired age and sex of your audience.
    • The precise interests of your audience.
    • The categories which interest your audience.

    Advertising with Twitter
Twitter Ads are absolutely remarkable. Twitter allows you to advertise based off of region, devices, demographic, and who a user follows. If a small business that is just starting out is hoping to reach hundreds of people who will be potential clients then there is a major flaw in the concept. The first is that most Twitter users are constantly bombarded with new updates and even if they follow you, there is a major chance that they will not see your tweets nor will they take any special action if they do. Of course this is just one view on the matter considering there are people who have reported great success with Twitter.

Hope this will helpful for you. Have a charming day

    Don't forget about LinkedIn ads.

You can also create an extremely targeted ad on LinkedIn. Plus, most "decision makers" have LinkedIn accounts, so this is a great way to bypass the gatekeeper.

I would say FB is superior for several reasons:

    1) People spend more time on FB then they do on Twitter. It's easier to grab their attention.

    2) You can target much more granular adverts because nobody has as much social data as FB.

    3) I read that as much as 50% of Twitter profiles aren't used regularly and 20% are fake or dupe accounts.
