No Traffic from Twitter, Greedy Bird!

Hi, this is Max. I'd love to get traffic from Twitter but it doesn't work for me. Here is what I do to achieve that. I use Triberr to re-share other people's content and get my own content re-shared in social media. So I tweet most awesome information made by fellow marketers and these tweets go viral. When I publish on my blog, my post is tweeted by them too. Every post of mine is shared 12-18 times on Twitter within a day. Triberr members tweet my post because they find it interesting, they are not supposed to just tweet in return for their stuff tweeted. Most of them have thousands if not tens of thousands of followers. Tweets with links to my articles are actively re-tweeted by their followers and random folks.

Looks like a good picture? But why on earth do I have 0-4 visitors per day from Twitter? Would you help me figure out how to fix it?

I get more re-tweets than visits! Ha-ha-ha

But unfortunately that's exactly what happens with those types of sites. It's a bunch of internet marketers and even worse, Twitter spammers trying to get traffic for their sites as well. Many of them use bots to build a following and consequently, most of the people that follow them are bots as well.

I'm not saying every account will be like that on Triberr, but many of them will. It's just the nature of that type of service.

Now Twitter can be difficult to get traffic from to begin with and I wouldn't recommend using it as your only traffic strategy. But it can be a great source of supplemental traffic if you use it the right way.

I notice you don't have many followers yourself, I would focus more on building up your following and see if that helps.

Also, don't put a link on every tweet you send out. Would a normal person (not internet marketer) really want to follow someone who constantly promotes offers?

Thanks, Dan. However, I don't seem to find a different approach to work better for me. Whatever I learned and tried on Twitter ended up in a waste of time.

I guess its the issue of driving real traffic from real accounts with a high number of followers who are active.

Driving traffic from twitter is the easy part, getting them to convert into buying website visitors is the hard problem,

Getting traffic from twitter is easy, you just need a cool free offer to have them opt in to your list for future marketing.

If driving traffic from Twitter is easy for you, would you share some tips and show the right direction? Email marketing is the easiest part for me. I just need human targeted traffic from Twitter. I'm doing well on Linkedin and Google Plus, so-so on Facebook, my next goal is Twitter.

Thanks, good tips. Yes, I can make my Twitter profile awesome, full of valuable stuff for people to enjoy and benefit. But how do they find it? The problem is to be able to reach the targeted audience on this platform. How do I get users to see my tweets? Just following for follow back doesn't seem to work. How do I bring them to my profile to convert in followers?
