Looks like an interesting idea but personally I use social media just for the purpose of driving traffic to my site and hopefully gaining long term followers.

I pretty much just use social media to drive traffic nothing more, sure its a slower way of doing things, but I get long term followers and along with that I email my list daily, religiously.

1- Driving traffic to my site.

2- Build a list in a niche with your followers according to their interest and push interesting offers to them to make money.
This works if you know what people are following you, from where(which country), and what they like.
