Best way to drive traffic from Google+?

Hi All,

I just wanted to know what was the best way to drive traffic from Google+ to my website. At present I have found that posting in communities generates a lot more traffic that just posting a general post using # etc.

Does anyone else have a technique of driving Google+ traffic to their website from their posts?

    I have great luck by simply +1ing my new stuff works great. The key is to write a eyecatching headline.

    Great headlines get noticed and shared..

    Remember google is good at weeding out the crap... So keep everything non spammy and useful.

    I also use SomethingSocial.net to get some likes and +1s to the post...

    Posting in related groups is the main way. That, or gain a following that clicks on your shares.

    Google+ is growing rapidly, the more you interact in the communities, higher are the chances to get good traffic to your site, also build good relations with the other users, share good content and joing or start hangouts too.

    I don't know if you noticed recently, but Google is liking more and more social interaction. So, post images and quotes which will promote interaction. Similar to facebook.

      1) You can create circles to categorize your Google+ connections and then place people into appropriate circles.As you publish updates to Google+, you can choose which circles to share those updates with so the right audiences get the right messages

      2) You can host a hangout and promote it as a small virtual webinar or tutorial session.

      3)You can hold a Google+ huddle, which is a text chat between Google+ members.

      4)Update your Google+ stream frequently with new content, and make sure you spend time commenting on other members' updates as well.

    Adding people to circles can make them aware of you for the first step. You need to communicate with people and communities as much as possible on Google+ and eventually you will have a good following that is more responsive than your followers on Twitter and Facebook.

    Google put more and more attention to Google Plus profile and pages. I guess it can work with sharing eye-catching headlines, good content, created targeted groups, invite people into your groups and hang out with them. that's what I do with Google Plus.
