How come Facebook didn't use any of my budget for my ad. Help !

I also have a question, So I just attempted to boost a post to create post engagement via the ads manager. The budget was $5 and the time of the campaign was 2 hours. I checked my data and none of the $5 was used. I guess it is because no one clicked through to engage with the page and because the life time of the ad was only 2 hours yes? I know you can be charged when someone clicks on your ad, PPC or when the ad is impressed on people as in PPI, so for the increase in post engagement objective I choose, I probably chose PPI yes?

My guess is that no one clicked on your ad because your ad picture wasn't eye catching enough or your ad copy did not draw attention.

The reason could be your audience was too small, the timeframe was too short, or your bid was too low. Whatever the reason, try making a page post ad in the ad manager instead of using the "boost post" button.

I definitely think it is a time frame issue. If you set your ad budget to $5.00 then it is irrelevant how much time the ad runs for so you may as well live on the edge and let it run the whole day.

It definitely has to do with the 2 hour time limit. I actually also did a $5 limit to test one of my ads, but I set it for 24 hours. It actually only used up $4.60 of my budget.
