Do you share your content on your facebook page as well?
How you want to increase your fans is more important, people will tell you to buy likes but it's not going to work, you must have to spend some money on adv within facebook if you want real and quick results, just build your audience first and keep focusing on content. If your content is valuable to them they will like it and share it which will help your both ways, for your page promotion and also generating traffic.

Concentrate on quality posting and the likes will follow.You need to catch the eye of the normal visitor and trust me they will come back if you have anything interesting on your page

Yes, get some likes through Facebook ads first. Those will give you a little social proof for the ones to follow. On your site, having the button isn't enough, as you've learned from experience. I quickly scanned your site top to bottom looking for the button and I didn't even see it until the second scan. Most of your users are not looking for it. You need to use calls to action like "Like us on Facebook for more great stuff" or something like that within your posts, not just on the sidebar. I like to use popups with the like button.

ETA: By the way, your site is hilarious! Do you write that yourself?

As well as Facebook ads and quality content - you can ask for likes at the end of your posts, run some sort of competition, like other pages in your market and share other people's facebook posts.

I agree @Ryan Thomas about your site - you've got some great posts on it.

Don't buy likes. It's a short-sighted move that doesn't really gain you anything. If you want to buy likes, buy real ones through a Facebook ad campaign.

My name is William Seow, born in the year of a goat and i retired not too long ago, so i guess you know my age, anyway that's not important because it is just numbers.

consider this ........ we spent 20 years of our life studying to satisfy our parent, then spent another 20 to 30 years working to satisfy ourself finally we left only another 2 to 3 decades living before GOD recall us. now we got to ask ourselves do we want to retire poor - like me Penny wise Pound foolish. whatever we earned in our lifetime is unmatchable to any Business associates. So we had to act fast before the calling, to have a NOT RICH BUT JUST COMFORTABLE LIFE, by opening up our ears to opportunity.

To enhance the likes at Facebook , you must come with interesting and user engaging topics, use proper content , graphics , videos. Somewhere facebook ads could help to enhance the visibility of the page and the users will be the active one. I'll suggest to go through facebook ads instead of buying cheap facebook likes. 2nd you must have a dedicated fb manager to make sure that you clients or targeted audience are getting real time information. Do not forgot to post your content on Facebook.
to enhance the viral traffic on facebook pages follow the followings
1. Jokes are most sharable stuff on the facebook
2. Educational text and graphics
3. research based documents
4. videos

Hi there, social media campaign is not easy. Especially in FB, to gain more likes. You need to have build authority to your page. Don't spam I mean, post useful contents.

It's not that hard but it does require a bit of work if you're not going to spend money on FB ads.

1. Post useful content that grab some attention.

2.Comment on the posts of other related pages as your fan page. Try to engage in converstions with a lot of activity, this seems to bring more visitors to a page.

This doesn't take up much time and can be fun if you're passionated about your niche, and if you have interesting content they will like your page and posts.

This works and is simple. I'm sure there are more ways & tricks but this works.

Another thing...this won't have a much effect, but it's the principle of it...like your own page...if the creator of a site hasn't even liked it, that's like negative social proof. You're above 0 now so it's a moot point, but ask your friends and family to like it also...any social proof helps.

Attaching strong, powerful images will get you more likes for your post vs posting a simple status update. And the more likes you get, especially right when it is sent out, the more exposed it will be to your community and their friends. That is how Facebook’s algorithm works.

Interact with your fans. Ask them questions, request opinions, and give them incentives to invite their friends to your page through contest campaigns by using apps like shortstack

* Engage your audience with interesting stuff
* Ask other fan page owners to share your page link on their fan page post like post exchange
* Share attractive images. And ask your audience to share your pics or jokes
* Engage them with interesting contests mind puzzles etc etc
