I have only used Hootsuite so can't compare to any others. I recommend hootsuite though, makes it very easy to manage Facebook, twitter and linkedin. Like you mentioned you can only add G+ pages but they may adjust this as well as add other networks in the future.

As previously noted Hootsuite is the standard, but you should also have a look at Tweetdeck. It's a pretty good FREE alternative.

All the platform are good for gaining traffic to your website. If you have the sale/purchase business then i think pinterst is good. You can show your product image. This looks nice. Mostly girls are more liking pinterst.

Pretty broad and reckless statement, don't you think? If Hootsuite wasn't doing the job folks wouldn't stick with 'em just because they are big and spend a lot of money. From my experience they pretty much do what they advertise. Not saying others aren't just as good or better, just saying people stick with Hootsuite for a reason.

Does HootSuite allow you to manage let's say 3 different social media profiles for 5 different companies all separately under one dashboard?

For example, company 1's FB, Twitter and Google+. Company 2's FB, Twitter and Google+. Company 3's FB, Twitter and Google+, etc. All under my main account dashboard? Or would I need 3 different HootSuite accounts?

If you’re thinking about adopting a social media management tool, there are several questions you should be asking yourself and your team.Using a social media management platform is a commitment and an investment in terms of both your time and your bank account, so picking the right one the first time is ideal. So i would like to suggest you to try:
Crowdbooster is a social analytics platform that looks at your tweets and Facebook posts and offers suggestions for when to post, who to interact with, and what your audience cares about. The main thing that is free for one twitter account and one facebook account.

Hootsuite or Buffer. I would be wary though as there's a temptation to post the same content across various networks when in reality, you probably need to treat each network as a separate channel.

Hootsuite and Buffer app is something which are widely used.

My Personal feeling is you cannot use the same content or communication in all social media platforms, simple reason being each platform is different in its own way, for example in FB an informal language works well where as in Linkedin is need to be very formal, and when it comes to twitter, it need to be very short and precise.
