What happens when your fan page hits 10,000 fans

I thought that I read somewhere that facebook seizes your fan page.

Is this correct? If so, how do you avoid this happening

Thanks

Not correct. Maybe in some cases, but I have several pages with well over 10k fans. Facebook technically owns all pages and can take them at any time, but there are a few things you can do to make it less likely. Most important is to not categorize it as a community page. It also shouldn't be too generic. I use website category and actually put a website url in the about section. I've never had them take a page.

    Why would they do that?

They probably watch your page more because you can reach a lot more people but they don't seize it.. LOL.. Their goal is to keep you on their site. The better content you provide and keep people engaging, the more they love you.
