Best way to use Readers' Pet Images for Social?

SOCIAL NETWORKS

I'll have a way for users to submit their pets' images on my site. The images will be used for articles or contests. But what is a good way to do this so I get social power, subscribers to my social network, etc?

Have them just post it to my FB? Have a page that has all the submitted images uploaded directly on my site? Then I pull them from that page and put them in an article?

Any creative thoughts are welcome too. Even if the tactic doesn't work solely for social spreading, I'd love to hear an idea to gather the images. And creative ways to use them! Thanks in advance.
