Getting On Facebook's Recommend Pages?

Does anyone have any idea or have you heard about how to get your fanpage onto Facebook's Recommend Pages? I was talking to a page owner with 200,000 fans and he told me that his page randomly got on it and now he gets close to 1000 new fans per day. He's not a celeb or anything and did no SEO. Everytime I see the recommended pages there's no rhyme or reason to how they actually recommend pages. Any advice?

Look through all the settings for your page...don't leave anything blank. If FB has a place to enter information, that means they want you to do it. They reward the pages that do what they want.

- Make your page profile full.
- Add more people to your page (there are many service to do this)
- Add more friend to admin fb

Thanks. Right now I get about 40 likes per day with FB ads. I don't really believe that getting a lot of likes at once with FB ads is the trigger. I know a few site owners of 200k plus fan pages who never have even run ads.

The engagement is easy. I post pictures that get 100's of shares a few times per day.

We'll put the theory to the test though, I had a share from a large fanpage and got 12,000 fans in the last 12 hours or so. We'll see if getting a large number gets the page recommended.

Pages are suggested based on recent check-ins, pages users have visited, Open Graph activity and friend connections.
