How can we use social media for brand promotion?

Hi all, I need help with social media brand promotion. I have one website that I want to promote to get traffic. So, how do I actually do that?

    It's rather easy, actually...
    1. Build a Facebook page with branding to match your website
    2. Run a Facebook "Like" campaign and tweak until you are getting likes for $0.10 or less
    3. Share content of yours and others on your Facebook page
    4. Get traffic.
    Oh, and number 5 - call me if you need help

    Honestly, folks, driving traffic with Facebook isn't hard at all. Nor does it have to be expensive.

    I launched a Paleo Diet autoblog last week. Within a day and a half, my Facebook campaign scored almost 60 Facebook fans and cost me $5. The site is already seeing a trickle of traffic.

    Nowadays, social media are considered as the best place for brand promotion and to generate more traffic. Social media like Facebook and other platforms offer paid advertising campaign which makes your post and contents to reach more customers and hence promoting your brand.

    Well, it is actually not that hard, just create a page for your business. Start inviting people, start with your family, friends and relatives. Update as much as possible so you'll appear on your followers timeline. Create updates that are shareable in order to get organic following (with that rest assure that your followers will do the job for you). If all else fails, invest on ads

    Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn are common places and you will receive the common traffic. But if really you want to build your brand. I will recommend you to go with Media Publications relevant to your niches where you will receive a genuine traffic. Get listed your brand on high authority news sites Forbes, Entrepreneur, The Huffington Post, Today, IBM, SAP, Tech.co and other major outlets. Write and place good content pieces and publish them. People will read and enjoying your articles.
