How Do We Use Facebook Ads After Change Now?

Hi,

I have heard a lot of talk about facebook changing their newsfeed reach. So im guessing that we need to use facebook to build a list now and that our ads need to link to a squeeze page since our messages wont reach our fanpage anymore?

So im wondering.....should I be sending my clicks straight to an opt in form/squeeze page? Is this the only way around it and how do we do it without going against their TOS? Thanks

    The best option is what you mentioned, to direct your ads to a squeeze page. However, you can still direct them to your fanpage. As you are paying for the ads then they will reach your target audience.

    wait Paul....I thought the reach was effected? I pay for the right column ads yes. But I thought this effected just the reach for paid advertisement too? Is the change only for free fan page traffic and not paid traffic? Thanks

      You can send Facebook fan page traffic directly to a squeeze page whether from an app connected to your fan page (highest converting for me) or your external squeeze page.

      I also find that ads placed in the news feed convert higher than the right-hand ads
