Anyone tried emailing FB emails for more fan page likes?

I have a FB UID scraper program and I converted thousand's of uid's to FB email accounts for my niche.

I was thinking of emailing all these FB email accounts to get more likes for my fan page.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done this before with any success?

You can upload them through the 'build audience' feature on the fanpage, but only upload one file per day and make sure the file is under 5,000 email addresses.

I've done this for a few fanpages I manage and haven't gotten a lot in return. For every file I upload and send, I only get a handful of likes.

The main problem is that FB users have to have their privacy setting to allow messages from non-friends and even if they do, the message you send goes to the "other" folder of their FB messages inbox. (For example, I've seen my name on a few lists of scraped lists that I have sent LIKE requests to, but I have never received the message because I have my personal privacy settings set to not allow it).

In short, you might get a few likes, but it's not as promising as it sounds.

If a developer could create a way to sneak messages directly into @facebook email accounts regardless of privacy settings, I think they'd be onto a winning WSO

Emailing UID's is not very useful as stated because Facebook will put the email in the 'other' folder so there is no notice. The best thing to do with those UID's is to make a custom ad just for them.

Yup, targeting your list of UIDs with ads is the way to go.
