So, if you were in court for stealing someone's property, your defense is going to be that other people do it and get away it. How do you think that the judge would respond to that?

In most cases, twitter suspends accounts for aggressive following behavior or spamming. Also, you need to be very smart if you want to outsmart twitter. Some folks can outsmart them but very few.

But how can one get so low and commit to spamming when it simply doesn't work? The fact is that you don't need to spam to succeed. Who told you so? You need to be smarter than that if indeed your account was suspended for such behavior. If not, then there is a good reason they suspended your account, and if you have no clue why they suspended you, then you are a far cry from ever outsmarting twitter.

The suspension sends you a clear message which is to stop whatever you were doing and move onto a completely different path...

Forget about other folks that didn't get caught. Why should you even care unless you are jealous of them?

Next time setup some RSS feeds related to your niche so that way you're adding value and promoting other people not just yourself. It could also be your subject if your promoting something ultra spammy like e-cigs or nutritional supplements then it'll be tough to stay on twitter. Try to get on every now and then and add some actual personal tweets this will make you seem human instead of looking like another bot.
