FB Typical Conversion

I am running a FB ad campaign and I am getting a lot of traffic to the site but the conversion rate of the traffic to an an enquiry is massive. Its about 1 enquiry per 100 visitors. Thats really poor conversion rate. Is this other peoples experience on Facebook too?

    I never try fb ads. there are a lot of others free methods like joining fb group, creating pages, updating status, commenting on wallposts, etc.

      Conversion rate depends on many things like how relevant your audience targeting is, how good your product is, will it fix any of their problems, where in a buying cycle are they, and so on...

      And yes, facebook will have lower conv. rates & lower quality traffic, comparing to search like google.

    What kind of product are you promoting? Is your audiences properly targeted .Most of the facebook campaign goes to bucket due to non targeted audiences.
