Traffic and Conversion Details - Affiliate links on Pinterest

I have several pinboards on Pinterest that I'm posting affiliate links to. I've been testing Amazon links as well as CPA offer links.

Haven't had much success with the CPA offers (which are related to the pins of course), but with Amazon I have seen some success.

However, the success seems very bad. Here are the details:

Clicks: 31,064
Orders: 14
Conversion Rate: 0.05%
Profit: $10.10

Is anyone else seeing better results? If so, how? I have a process down to post pins linking to affiliate links, but the conversion rate sucks.

Any tips would be appreciated!

Affiliate stuff used to do something with pinterest traffic couple of months ago, but now it is useless

Now i am only using PPC ads, i have seen that pinterest traffic does produces many clicks but their conversion is terrible, so try adsense, Bidvertiser or media.net

Thanks for the reply. The traffic still does convert well for list building and sign ups, but seems to perform poorly for Amazon conversion. Why would it be good in the past and not now? There is so much rave about putting amazon affiliate links on products and promoting on Pinterest, but it seems like a crock.

Don't get me wrong, I AM seeing conversions and incoming cash... but it minimal.

Does anyone have any experience with the compounding affects Pinterest may have to affiliate sales? For example, if I post 100 amazon affiliate links today, can I expect these to be share with 10 people tomorrow, 50 people the next day, 100 people next month, 200 people the following month and so on...

Does any have experience with this?

Have you ran multiple posts on Pinterest to see what converts the best?

It sounds like you have the audience, now it's time to see what it is that they really want.

In the process of doing this now.... I'll report back. Most things don't seem to convert on pinterest.
