Using Twitter as a live news stream.

Hello. I am a Financial Market Trader and I run an affiliate website.

What I would like to do. Have 3-4 Twitter accounts. Each following different content and topics. I would then like to have my followers Tweets embedded on my website each in different feeds. I would also like this to auto-update/refresh so it is a close as possible to a live data stream.

Is this possible? If so, how would I do it! I'm using (and struggling/getting frustrating with) Wordpress.

You might want to familiarize yourself with Twitter's streaming API. A good resource for this is Twitter API Programming Tips, Tutorials, Source Code Libraries and Consulting by Adam Green – 140Dev.com

Yeah, it is possible. Just check their API. Also if you are running your website on wordpress it could make your life easier.
