What is the basic to start successful facebook page?

Hello, warriors!
I joined the forum today! I hope we can share strategies to be rich all together!
Anyways, I am trying to make a facebook fanpage regarding of Cooking, but I actually do not know how to start. There are people who told me to get facebook advertisement thingy, but I am looking for something that is really effective. What do you guys think?

    Add an attractive cover photo. Make sure to add your own stories about the stuff you share. This makes it personal and people will bond to you better. Change your photo to a great shot of you. Brand yourself and not the page name. Good luck!

      I checked your page.. Yeah you definitely need to have a nice cover photo. Post 3-5 times a day. When you're posting try to get in the minds of your fans or potential ones. What would they like to see but always what would they be most likely to share, as that will help your posts get more reach.

      Run some facebook ads to give yourself a nice jumpstart. Can be done on a small budget. Use images a lot! But also mix in text posts and video.

        Yea, I was thinking of purchasing facebook credits, but it is quite expensive. I heard you can get a coupon and I checked fiverr but there are requirements hmm. Any suggestion?

      Thanks for the advice. I tried to change the name of page but, it seemed it would take a long time, so I created a new one on other account. Anyways, what do you mean by brand myself? I have a page called 'cook aid' which is new one, do you mean by the title of the page or actual me involved in the video?

    I would also fill in as much detail as possible in your 'about' section of the page so that people can know what your page is about and what they can expect. Maybe add a bit more info in your posts rather than just jumping into a recipe to make it more interesting.

    STEP 1: Most important ever, Only start a page on a topic you are quite interested in. Dont select a topic based on profit potential or based on the market. It must be something you are passionate about. If not your posts are going to be irregular, your post quality is going to suck, and your not going to get many fans.

      Haha, it somewhat hurts. I am personally interested in cooking and food but in same time, I choose this topic since I see a market o.o; Anyways, thanks!

    Some of the basic things of owning a facebook page is that you should have such a name that would attract your customers. The name of a brand is always something very interesting that a customer like to see. Like there are so many big brands, who have such big names, that is because in their intial stages of their business history, they used to have an interesting name which used to attract people towards them.
    You can get some customers only by having an interesting name, and some people only buy things from a place because of the name on the product.

    Next is that you should have many friends who are ready to support you in your business. Ask them to promote your page, and ask them to ask the same thing and keep the chain continuous in sending invitation to your page.

    The most important thing is that you should have interesting information that you should post on our page so that people would share that and that would help others to know that from where the other person got that information from.
    And also add pictures, something funny or interesting or romantic etc. People usually love to see funny or romantic posts, it attracts a lot of people

    1) Find the answers why should you be on Facebook
    2) Use the available space given wisely
    3) Your cover should reflect mission statement
    4) Try to post regularly
    5) Respond to comments from audience
    6) Provide value to your audience help them
