How to grow my picture sharing Twitter account?

Hey everyone,

I've recently started a Twitter page (www.twitter.com/mustseepics) where I syndicate pictures from across the web and share them. Are there plenty of pages like this? Sure - but that hasn't stopped them from, generally speaking, being successful.

I've gone from about 30 followers to 80 or so (where I am right now) over the course of this week (I started the account about 9 days ago). I already managed to get my account suspended once for aggressive Twitter following - so I've had to resort to less aggressive means thus far.

I use Buffer to schedule Twitter posts (I'm sending out 1 per hour 6am - 12pm, 1 every 30 minutes from 12:30pm-6pm, 1 per hour from 6pm - 10pm and none from 10pm until again at 6am) and I've got enough backlogged right now to carry me for the next five or six days - so post frequency isn't an issue for me right now.

On top of the automated posting (go to my twitter page to see the types of content I'm posting), I try to engage with people, respond, retweet / favorite other content, etc. That being said, what are some tactics I can use to grow my follower base? I know that, once I've got more followers, that'll give posts, generally speaking, more traction.

I ran a tweetreach report for my account name (which I also hashtag in each post), and this was the result: Twitter Reach Report Results for mustseepics | TweetReach

7,500 accounts reached in the past couple days isn't bad, but those numbers aren't quite translating into Followers. Anyone have any legit-yet-safe tips for raising these numbers? Or general feedback on the account as a whole?

Thanks!
