FB Page Post - Clicks VS Website Clicks

Hey guys,

Have any of you noticed when doing campaigns to your page posts that the total amount of clicks has no correlation with the total action summary you'll get in the AD manager?

I attached a picture to illustrate my point..

Total clicks: 87
Total actions: 14
Website clicks: 11
Post comments: 2
Page likes: 1

I wonder where the rest of the 73 clicks are going?

Actions have nothing to do with clicks.

Actions = number of people who have liked your page, or installed your app (if relevant).

Clicks = the number of people who have clicked the ad.

    Thanks brutecky!

    Sorry,

But I forgot to mention that in my page post I only have text and two links (same URL) placed different places in the ad. Facebook automatically detects the link and grabs some picture from the landing page and show that in the ad.

So there are 87 clicks and 11 website clicks - 2 comments and 1 page likes.

The only purpose of the AD is to get the traffic to the landing page. And thats the only option they have to click on.. So I still wonder where the rest of the clicks might be going?

Just make sure you're tracking actual clicks to wherever you're sending them so you can get a visitor acquisition cost. I've seen the "total website clicks" and my own tracking be way off.

I managed to find an external tracking on the link I used in the page post...

It showed 27 clicks - And this tracking software responds in realtime so thats a trustworthy number. Some of those clicks are from me aswell since I've been wondering from time to time if the link works or not..

These numbers doesn't make sense - The tracking FB gives you is way off as you said Jason!
