Facebook groups question

I have just started a few more of my own groups on facebook. What I'm wondering is this. Can I post links of my new groups to the groups(not all but many)that I belong in. I would rather do this if possible than just add my friends to it. Some groups might not like this but generally speaking is it allowed. I don't know how else to get lots of new members otherwise. Thanks.

    The owner of the group will decide if it's allowed or not.

      Well they don't always say upfront though. Most of the time pretty much anything will go through except for when it's moderated and the owner has the final say. So I suppose it's ok for me to go ahead and do it then. However, I'm wondering if it's ethical since I haven't seen anyone else do it.
