FB Fanpage and selling it?

Hi,
back when I first made my Facebook, I also created a fan page. Over the past 6 years, it's gained 422k likes. I was wondering if I could sell this and if the messages to my account asking to buy it were real? Any help would be nice. Thanks!

    Referring to Facebook's TOS, Section 4 Paragraph 9, Facebook states that "You will not transfer your account (including any Page or application you administer) to anyone without first getting our written permission"

    People however do allot of things online against the T.O.S. of many websites, including selling their fanpages. Doesn't mean it's allowed though.

    In some cases when you get someone asking you if you want to sell your page, it could be some sort of scam. Not always, but sometimes.

    The scammers get away with ripping you off, (especially if they pay via paypal) by either asking for their money back after you transferred the page to them, or the credit card they used was stolen and you will be charged back. In either case you can not prove that you sold them a page since you can not ask Facebook to verify. (against their TOS remember?) Also since you did not sell a physical item (your Fanpage) Paypal will in many cases not be of much help.
