Thanks for joining me at todays webinar. I am going to discuss some social media concepts that I was lucky enough to encounter, that allowed me to build my business easier and faster than ever imagined.

I know many of you are already using social media and are familiar with its basic workings.

I also know that most people are only scratching the surface of what social media could do for their personal and professional lives .

Shortly I am going to get into exactly how you should be using social media today to reach your intended market, and not be tagged as a "troll"


How would you like to wake up tomorrow morning and have 5 - 10 people wanting to know more about your product, more about services, and just more about what you do.

Question have you really grasped the reach and power of social media to transform your business and your life?

LEARN FIRST

Don't just jump in haphazardly...social media is based on relationships. Maybe not the strongest of ties that bind initially, but relationships nonetheless.

Social media can be likened to a big outdoor barbecue. Just like any social event you socialize and meet people. You normally would not interrupt conversations, or unnecessarily bother strangers.

You would use and also expect the use of etiquette from others when approaching. If not you seem unknowledgable, thirsty.....or at least uncouth. none of which helps our credibility

Make sure you learn so you don't burn any early relationships

Here's 4 quick tips to use right away ....

You have to create an exposure. You have to get on the sites register, completely fill out the profiles , learn the software. You have to show-up

Start creative conversation and adding VALUE to peoples lives. You can ONLY do that when you have actually listened to them.

Directions and kindness go far in the social media emotional dept.

Influence is the result of great value ...practical, usable, applicable

The Movement is pull marketing ..Attraction marketing
connect + comfortable + construct

Show interest in them first . EDIFY . resulting in a bridge of trust.

What would happen if all your friends knew that what you send is valuable?

The ONLY way to accomplish that is to:

Take time to develop the relationship and find out exactly where you can help , What are their problems? and then, How can you position what you do to solve their problem.? If that can't be accomplished that person is not a prospect at this time .

Register a name that you can brand online
Use your name or some derivative that points to your business and/or product

What do you bring to the table to increase,expand, and accelerate someones life ?

What is it about you that you want to bring to the table ?
What gives you credentials

What makes you the expert?

Many of you will think that you require some level of grand success to claim the tag of an expert. FALSE that is precisely why we focus more on our personal stories and positioning our personal experiences as bridges in communication.

There is always someone who knows less than you or who values and appreciates you're particular viewpoint. Your swag if not for a better word.

Always show value to the reader. Arrogance and cockiness doesn't come off well and requires you to overperform. Modesty and humility allows you to WOW people so much easier !

Make your profile focused on the reader: This is WHO I am and what I can do for YOU.
Grab them in 3 or 4 sentences.
This is what I have to offer. This is what I can do !!

This helps establish you as someone worth following and befriending

Include your url into ALL your profiles

5 social sites to start you're journey

You can even start with some lesser known sites where you can more easily be seen

If you try to spin 25 sites and befriend and follow and comment and take up six hours and accomplish little.

Just get a handful of sites to start with.

Learn the ins and outs to reach more people
Grow on the sites and get REALLY known
After creating a following then you can branch out
Don't spread yourself too thin
Less stress more fun better quality

Broadcast your BRAND
Broadcast you're message to converse with more people at once

Start a weekly show.
Shows a level of seriousness

N- next move ...first 3 steps ....take it offline

IF you do this you will be shocked and stunned

Grow but stay grounded on the disciplines that allowed you to grow
People have bs meters, they can smell a fake even when not knowing

I created this short tutorial because it is so simple! There are so many different strategies, and methods that marketers may use. So much money on WSO's and reports. But I believe a new person as I was, is better suited to applying a very simple, no cost value oriented marketing model.
