Where are you getting your content from?

I haven't been that active in social media for my company. I am struggling with getting daily content to post to twitter, fb, etc...

I was wondering where you might be getting your content from for local businesses. I know that some on here offer social media management for local businesses and unless you have a crazy imagination, how are you getting content ideas that you can post?

      I am mainly talking about gather content to post on facebook & twitter. For example, I offer local marketing and want to post daily social media posts for local business such as video marketing, business photos, seo, website, mobile website information.

      I guess I am asking, do you really come up with daily social media posts from your knowledge or do you go places to get ideas and then post in your own words?

        Twitter is an excellent source of content that's relevant to your interest. If you follow likeminded companies and customers, you can get a feel for what they want to hear. This is the essence of content; producing stories that people like, find interesting, want to share.

    I guess on my end i did both. own knowledge and went to places to get ideas mostly research on the web. If you're doing local marketing, you might want to try Facebook ads when you're done with your content.

    What do your customers need/want/like? What questions do they have, what problems can you solve for them, etc., etc., there are many fundamental questions you should ask yourself that if answered can sprout a ton of great ideas for content for years to come. Start with "Who is my customer?".

    For social media you have a lot more options available because you don't have to always put out your own unique content, you can share/curate other peoples' content as long as it's relevant and of good quality, one simple way to find ideas and content to share is using a site like www.Feedly.com, remember RSS readers? Well you can watch all the related sites/blogs in your niche, and pick and choose what to share, scheduling posts days out in advance, sprinkling in your own unique content as well.

    Good idea is to follow the RSS feeds of several blogs that you like/follow. Whenever you want to post something just check your reader to see the most recent blog post. Why waste time searching for articles/content to post/link to when you can get all of it sent right to you?

    MY website is miraclegroup(dot)com and the best place i get content for this site is hiring a freelancer to do the work. Other articles that are writtent on the blogs are written itself by CEO of the company. Otherwise if I have an Idea I convert it into content and edit it with the help of a proof reader.
