I stumbled upon this video, and I was wondering what are your opinions about it. If you are advertising on FB, you should check this out.

    It's compelling, for sure. To me, it stresses the importance of a) targeting and b) why you advertise.

    Gone are the days of LIKE campaigns. People (myself included) recently have been enamoured by the results of a good old optimised CPC ad because we can get likes for around .$05...but what good are a pile of likes if there is no engagement and your posts have no reach?

    I say if you advertise on FB now, you need to forget about building likes, but focus on building your list. I have a Facebook page that I use to create dark posts in order to get clicks to a squeeze page and I hardly ever post on the page itself. If the ad is created effectively and your landing page converts, it really doesn't much matter where it comes from as long as you drive people to it.
