Tips For Using #Hashtags

I am new to social media marketing and maybe someone can save me and others time by sharing their experience by using hashtags.

And one more question which is best place where to find trending hashtags (twitter).
www.hashtags.org but there is not show a lot (Free version).

    Hashtags for twitter aren't really necessary anymore...if you notice on the 'discover' page, there's a section that says 'trending' and half the words in that section don't have hashtags. That's because it can automatically pull the words that are trending, just like Facebook now has it. I find them to be very messy looking, and can take away from the quality of what your company is posting. On the other hand, hashtags for Instagram are still fully useful and work how Twitter first created them to be. Use what every hashtags that relate to the picture, place, genre, etc. that you posted

    You can still use hashtags, but it looks more deliberate that you are selling something when you do. Twitter is becoming more of a visual medium. Me likey. I try to get photos into the trending topics by tweeting, these will appear on the top of a trend for Twitter users to click on. I feature a link via a URL shortener in the tweet for them to click thru to potentially convert to sales.

    You should just connect hash tags with the topic of your post, and definetely, do not overuse them, because it really becomes irritating sometimes.
