I'm really trying to monetize on Pinterest... Any suggestions?

Hi,

I've been on Pinterest for almost two years, and while I don't have many people who are following my own account, I'm active on many public boards and have access to hundreds of thousands of followers.

I'm mostly active in three niches:
1. Art
2. Travel
3. Inspirational quotes

I have been trying to monetize my Pinterest activity in the following ways:

1. Webpages with travel content (Like "25 great travel tips for London") that have adsense ads and CPA affiliate offers (Amazon travel guides + hotel booking services)

2. Self-made online shops that sell art-prints and posters of art.com and so on (The pins lead directly to the "shop")

3. A gallery of inspirational quotes, where you can buy self-help books and quote-posters

So far, I must admit, I hardly made a penny I do have a lot of interaction (Quite a few repins and likes) and some people even take the bother of clicking my pins and going to my sites, but quite frankly, there are almost no conversions of any sort... Not even adsense clicks...

Has any of you managed to generate income from Pinterest? Any good suggestions, or tips?

Thanks, Roni

This means you are still unable to pull good amount of traffic
Why not instead posting to group boards try posting to your own non-group boards
Or make a new profile for the purpose
I have seen if consistently pin to your boards after couple of weeks you start getting good surge of traffic without having significant followers

So also try this strategy parallel to what are you doing right now so it will not effect your current campaign
