YouTube Doesn't Pay You If You Don't Connect Your Adsense Account

Currently, I have 3 YouTube channels that are monetized. Two of them have my Adsense account connected to them and the other one doesn't. I just logged in to the channel that doesn't have an Adsense account and noticed ZERO earnings despite the fact that one of my videos is getting a significant number of video views. So basically, YouTube is labeling that video as MONETIZED but isn't giving me credit for the advertising. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct, you must connect the channel to Adsense to get paid. My question is, why don't you simply connect it like you did with your other 2 channels?

It's because I really didn't care about that channel when I monetized it. But that's beside the point. Lots of people who are new to YouTube won't figure this out until it's too late.

But why are they labeling videos as MONETIZED when they're not monetized?

Yes that's right, if we do not have Adsense account for Youtube then existing revenue can not be taken from youtube, Adsense is a tool to accommodate the revenue.

I worded the title wrong. YouTube doesn't give you ANY CREDIT if you don't connect your Adsense account. Basically, your videos are labeled as MONETIZED and ads are showing up, but they're not your ads. At least that's what it looks like. My earnings currently say $0 for my one channel that doesn't have an Adsense account. One of my videos is getting a considerable number of views so I know it's making money. I'll try connecting my Adsense account right now to see if there's a difference, but I don't think I'm going to get credit for my past earnings.
