How much should I pay for a Facebook page?

I have the ability to buy a Facebook page in a very popular niche with 50,000 likes.

How much should I pay? I was going to offer £0.95 per 100 likes?

Thanks Antonio, I'm confident I can make my money back on it quickly. I think £0.95/100 likes is fair based on this and the quality of the group I just wanted to make sure I'm not paying stupidly over market value.

I will do with future pages. I will also use this page to promote other future pages of the same interest.

I am aware of this and the risks associated with it.

I have looked into it and im very confident the likes are unique, the page has/is marketed with S4S. The people talking about it is 16,000+.

S4S stands for 'Share for share', you network with other facebook pages and exchange shares on each other's pages.

I don't get it when people buy Facebook pages, if they are willing to sell it doesn't that mean they cannot gain the value from it?

I could write a script and get 1000's of likes everyday, but whats the point none of them are ever going to click my links. It would simply be something to stroke my ego.

Instead I'm running Facebook ad's getting likes for 10-15p each who are genuine and click my links, it's an expensive version of ppc but I can get some buzz going about my website through it.

Why not instead invest that money in your own page that has REAL people on it?

I have already mentioned that the likes are real which is why I am willing to pay what I'm going to pay.

Why are you paying 10-15p per like? The ad's I am running are only costing £0.02/£0.03 per like?

If i were to invest that money in adverts to get the 50,000 likes it would cost a great deal more money. This is an established page with a good community of active people, it's a good investment considering what I can get back out of it.
