I would like to share to you guys about some changes and updates on Facebook ads.

Big changes in March 2014 about Facebook ads on how they setup their platform. You'll going to start noticing a new platform for new accounts and its going to look slightly different from the old platform.

Here are the list of major changes for March 2014 on Facebook ads.

Call to Action



Facebook have added a new feature in there ever-complex Power Editor to try and combat this problem, now giving users the opportunity to add a call to action button IN their ads.

You now have the choice of adding Shop Now, Learn More, Sign Up, Book More & Download to your Page Post Newsfeed Ads, only when you create them in Power Editor and only when they link to a webpage

Here’s what it looks like on a Desktop News Feed view with “Learn More” Call to Action option.



Pop-up Window

Edit Creative, Edit Targeting and Edit Pricing – Pop-up Window



These links will provide FB ad user a pop-up window to easily navigate and manage their ads for creativity, targeting and pricing. This would be useful and efficient for FB ad user to manage their ads.



Partner Categories

FB changed how partner categories work so you can use them without the Power Editor. This is a very useful option make your targeting even more effective.
