It also depends on your bidding. Others they lower it down after several hours to decrease the charges.

I am interested to know more about success of using Facebook ads. Do you really get from your website in ration of what you spend on Facebook ads?

The most important thing is how much profit you make.. not how much you pay for a click. For example i have a campaign that generates me costs of 0.01$ per click.. and i have 1 campaign that i went up to 1,35$ per click. Most money i make with the second campaign.
Facebook is always adding new rules, new things to the game so you always must be informed. Also the best way to get cheaper clicks is to test. testing is everything. test the image , the headline.. the type of ad(clicks to website, post engagement, page likes..etc). My main source for traffic on all my biz is Facebook.... and i can tell you that, if you do it right.. you can make a ton of money!

I'm interested at this also, for me I have a fb page that I want to get fans on, but the even though is low 0.04-0.20, I don't get any like after 10k imp. I tried on clicks, it's over a dollar and they don't even like the page.

My page is about a nice job site in a niche, and I target those niche as well.

As the others said, it's not how much you spend but what returns you get. If you use Facebook Ads right, you can get some pretty good returns.

The first step is to figure out your campaign objective. There are 8 objectives to choose from when starting a new Facebook campaign. The best way to use Facebook ads is to build a brand by creating a page and getting people to like it. You can then add content to your page, engage people, get them to share your stuff, and if you do it right they'll eventually buy from you.

It takes time but it will give you great returns over the long run. There are, of course, other ways to use Facebook ads, like getting quick traffic to your site. I'm writing a series on this on my site so check it out if you're interested - Facebook Ads for E-commerce: Getting Started | Open a Store Now

Yes, it is possible to get low cost ppc advertising on Facebook, but as many have said, it's not always about the low cost but the ROI (return on investment). Test, tweek, test and test again to optimize your ad.

facebook ads is about money out vs money in. Of course, low cost gets better results. Charge depends on the demografics and the interest but if your ad does it good after a while, facebook charges low

How do you decide what bidding model you use? Some people recommend CPC and others CPM. I'm not sure which one to use mainly cuz I don't understand the merits and demerits of both.
