Did I miss anything?
I have started a website (based on WordPress, because it has a gazillion plugins). I then went and joined facebook, YouTube, twitter, Google+, Pinetrest, Linkedin, StumbleUpon and Vimeo.
I have so far written one article, about my Wishlist for Terminator 5 (lol - it's very important to me). I have then made a link to it on facebook and twitter. I will also make a YouTube video. I will do my very best to make a video that will get heaps of likes. Something that contains all the latest information about Terminator 5 (Genesis). I hope that the video will attract some of my first YouTube subscribers.
I will also tweet the video and use hash tags and all that kind of thing. Then, once I have it all done, I will go and write another article and make another video.
This is the very first time I have made a concerted effort to try to build a "brand" so to speak, with original quality content. I just want to ask - am I going the right way about it? Is there anything else I should be doing?
I want to try to add my articles to some kind of syndication website like maybe dig? Or, maybe there's a better way to do it? Maybe there's a whole heap of stuff that you know I should be doing, but haven't even mentioned.
I am just looking for comments and advice and the 2 cents worth of anyone that might have a bit of experience with this kind of thing. The way I see it, if I do an article and a video every day, I should have 365 articles and videos in a year -- and hopefully a whole heap of YouTube subs, twitter followers, and facebook friends.
Oh, and here's my YouTube intro:

I will put that at the very star of every video I make. I haven't made any yet. I hope to make one real soon. I am just thinking about how I am going to go about making it.
