How i Got 7453 Targeted Fans for $0,05 per Fan!

Hey all,

So this is my first post here.

I would like to share with you my experience with Facebook advertising and how i got cheap targeted fans to one of my fan pages.

So without further adieu here's the strategy I used.

First, head over here to create a new ad.

Choose page likes as your objective.

You'll be asked to select the Page you want to create your ad for. Select the Page and then you'll be taken to the page where you can create your ad.

By default, Facebook will use your cover photo for your ad image. I usually delete this photo and choose new ones. I would advise that you choose up to 6 images at once so that you can create different variations of your copy and images.

In the image below you will see that I am targeting Green Bay Packers Fans and the image i used is highly engaging with the targeted people!

Since I am trying to get as cheap fans as possible I am also removing the newsfeed ads option and just running right hand side ads. Newsfeeds ads are more expensive in my experience. I mainly use newsfeed ads for website clicks and conversions but not that much for page likes.

I use right hand side ads for my cost per like campaigns and usually a call to action: either " Like us" or "Join us".

As I am targeting Green Bay Packers Fan ( pretty populated niche) I am using the below targeting options:

As you can see , I am not using anything fancy or extremely targeted. My main goal is to build up a new facebook page with cheap targeted fans and then engage them with my content and monetize them

I am usually starting with a budget of around $10 per day and i let Facebook auto bid for likes!

So to summarize all the above:

Choose Page Likes as an Objective
Use up to 6 targeted to your niche images
Use a clear call to action with your text message ( Like us or Join Us)
Let Facebook autobid for your likes
Use a low budget to begin with

This is how i managed to get 7453 New Targeted Fans for $0,05 per Fan!

I am currently building multiple new facebook pages across various niches using this strategy.

Hi, i found this quite informative. Just need to work out how to set it up for myself.
I have bought facebook likes, but think by spending a bit of cash i should go down this road. Just i dont sell anything from my websites, only have adsence. I make on average $1000 a month from this. Just this is over several sites. I have a tech site that i would like to do this with though

FB organic reach is dropping A LOT.
is it still worth to do a Like Campaign?

  As much as organic reach is dropping, and fake accounts distorting your reach even more, it is still worth using Facebook and doing a campaign. There might be less people who see it, but if you do a quick cost comparison to print media or tv advertisements, you will see it is still interesting to do these things.

  I have found facebook ad campaigns to be somewhat expensive and not nearly as effective as the promote page option . I am presently pulling in 500 page likes daily over three active pages paying $10 daily on each page ($0.06/like). that has been consistent for over five days. After split testing with ad campaigns which got no lower than $0.20 in one rare instance for the exact same page and content.
  
  I have found the effectiveness of page promotion is directly related to you posting consistent and interesting content. To make it easy to understand, just think of your fb page as your actual blog and take the same approach that you would to posting regularly and sharing value.
  
  Also remember that Facebook users are programmed to only spend three seconds on a post and maybe 5 to ten if it catches their eye. The ideal fb post contains a high quality picture and a short but powerful script. Use capitals to highlight catch words that subconsciously resonate with readers. As an example take a look the The ISLAND Mastermind and My ISLAND Body, my two latest experiments (both a work in progress). I also did Happy Future Group for one of my students.
  
  I have a magazine look and feel to my posts using equally sized and shaped pics wherever possible. I pay for pics but google images works just as well.
