Bingo and Slots Ads on Facebook

Does anybody understand are the Bingo and Slots ads allowed on FB?
I can see ads, but Googling around tells me that one needs to leave $10,000 deposit with FB. There are plenty of these opportunities, so just wanted to check if anybody is clear about what the real situation is.

    Which country are you targeting? From what I have read, it largely depends on the rules regarding gambling in the country you are registered to and also to the country you want to advertise in.

    Im not 100% but I would think they would be cautious about allowing American residents place advertise for gambling products and display them to anyone in the world, because technically that would make facebook an accessory to a felony.

    however, over in the UK, gambling is legal and you dont even have to pay taxes on your winnings.

      Its funny you are in Thailand, but are so well informed. World is definitelly getting smaller, by the day. Yeah, I am based in UK and would like to advertise on FB in Australia.

      Its so wrong one can't just ask FB and clarify.
