Trying Facebook ad again
So it's been like 2 years since I tried running a FB ad - last time it was for likes to the fan page which did boost the likes, though didn't see a big boost in sales, so haven't run one again. After reading some of the posts here about them, thought I'd try again.
Yesterday I started a test campaign for links to one of my stores, gothicplus.com. Only doing $5 a day budget right now (will increase if I see some sales from it). I used the default facebook targeting tools to target gothic lifestyle, steampunk, and similar fan base age 15 and up in the US.
So far I've had 1,517 impressions and 4 clicks, 12 likes, and 2 new newsletter subscriptions. Not a huge result, but not bad for my first test and only 2 weekdays (1 1/2 actually since it started running late yesterday afternoon). No sales from it yet, but I'm going to let it run for a bit (perhaps tweek it along the way) and see what happens. Planning to up it to $10-20 a day budget if I see any sales from the test.
