Hey guys I came across this article of some guy who done extensive research on facebook and he argues why it is a fraud.

What do you think? personally I agree and I think google plus might actually win the social media war if facebook continues to get worse the way it is.
It is an article, you don't need to read it but watch the two videos they are less than ten mins each. Pretty interesting.

I think this is FB way of leveling the playing field and weeding out those who don't have it in them to adapt.

FB is a virtually endless stream of leads. I pull leads daily from FB and don't utilize a fan page for any of it. If people had flipped those fans onto an email or do so, then it won't really matter what FB decides to do to the reach of a Fan Page.

Nope I think facebook will be here... forever. Its too much of a "power" and its growing and growing even since it was first created.

That maybe true but what about the advertisers as a whole? the big companies that keep the whole thing going. I hate to say this but I think G+ will gaon on facebook in next few years. Either way it will be interesting to see what happens.

While I think that Facebook is a little at fault, a lot of the blame also falls on users.

In the second video of the link that the OP posted it's stated that the average Facebook user likes 40 pages and has 300 friends. If everything posted would show on everyones wall people could see as much as 1,500 posts per day. So instead of posts being visible for a few second or minutes (kinda like Twitter) Facebook is forced to filter posts and limit the reach that better cater to the persons level of involvement on different posts by people/fan pages.

Much of this "spam of info" is caused by users posting tons of meaningless content. Updates of what they're doing, what they're eating, how they're feeling, the dozens of pictures they upload of their kids, and all the other stupid crap that people post on Facebook that has no value and only adds more crap to people's walls and takes up space. Not to mention the crap that many businesses post on Facebook and how they try to pitch people products and services all the time. People would be pitched products all day long if there was no filter, so Facebook has to find ways to limit the frequency.

Maybe if people only "liked" the pages that they are the most passionate about and there was a limit to 10 per person and if people would only "friend" their real circle of friends you wouldn't have people who have hundreds of friends to clog up the wall and force Facebook to filter posts, then the reach could be much higher.

Let the user filter the information, I don't like Facebook doing it for me.

I don't think FB will get stuck in near future. As it is buying other apps or Social Media platform,it is difficult for its competitors to stop it.
