The need for linking to Facebook Offers App??
Hi Warriors,
I recently started doing the 'odd-job' in social media marketing (e.g. setting up Facebook Apps for businesses etc).
My understanding is, that Facebook has removed the facility to link directly to your 'offers page / app'.
Some people decide to market their Apps using a URL service (e.g. bit.ly), but I was thinking - do you think there is the need for more of a universal approach?
As part of a course in web development I'm doing, I have been developing a URL service / forwarding service that will allow people to effectively purchase a keyword (e.g. internet-marketing), and they would be able to market their link (e.g. fbpage.co/internet-marketing) so people who click it would go directly to that company's 'offer page / app).
From your experience, do you think that this is something that I could release to the general public without getting into trouble? Do you think that there is the need for it, or just leave it as coursework?
