You'll have to spend some money on building up your following. Target the demographic that you think would give you more sales.

How much you spend doesn't necessarily reflect how many sales you'll make. How much did you spend on optimizing your sales page for high conversion rates and how targeted was your advertising?

You could try joining local buy/sell groups and then post there for free. Or use a Wordpress autoposter like "Add Link To Facebook" (paid version) to do the posting for you. Then you get your ads in front of people who are used to buying stuff online - although they may not be completely in the demographic you want. Got Dallas Cowboys tees? Post in Dallas Buy/sell groups - get the idea?

So you are saying that you were trying to giveaway something, but nobody wanted that?

Don't know your offer or niche, but seems like it wasn't attractive enough for your target audience!

Fashion is a huge niche, just like weight loss. You need to zero in on your demographic. You cannot just target generic people who are interested in fashion and expect to sell them something. Just because they like does not necessarily mean they will like yours too. I think your targeting is too broad and that's your problem.

Most campaigns on facebook fail because of choosing the wrong audience. It is the key element. It effects your ctr causing you to spend more or less money per click. Also images, designs of your tshirts matter too. Stop marketing to a broad audience, be very specific and try to stay below 1 million unless you are after likes not sales.

There's a reason why teespring campaigns work. Because instead of creating something generic and hoping that someone will like and buy the design, you specifically design the shirt for a specific demographic which lowers your risk and increases the chances for a sale.

If you got 200 shares with zero sales, it means they did not see the value to move forward. Let's say you are selling cat videos and promoting on facebook. A lot of people may like your sample videos and share them however, that doesn't mean they will chip in the money to buy them.

A lot of people on facebook are looky loos, they are there to waste time, have a good time and check out what others are up to. They are not there to buy something. You need to interrupt them and make an incredible offer they cannot refuse otherwise you will not make any money on facebook.

It's hard to do a direct sale on Facebook. Offer a freebie to get them on your list. Immediately give them the opportunity to get a tripwire (a freebie with shipping costs). Then you bring out your items to the list.

You might not be targeting your audience well or they simply don't like what you're selling. $3,000 spent on Facebook ads with just 2 sales sounds really strange.

I would like to say that you have wasted your money. Have you targeted your region? Have you select the negative keywords if you done work on Google? Does you use the relevancy for your campaign? Have you used the plan to start the campaigns?
There are some another points that you need to think before to start the campaign. I know its very costly method so we need to think before to start work.

To get sales give something of equal value. Promote others. Comment on other FB Page posts. The more you give, paying it forward, helping other people get sales, the more sales will flow back to you. It's all karma Also, create helpful free info for people to sink their teeth into
