Anyone else see a huge decline in reach after April 28th. I was getting reach like back like it used to be on facebook. Sometimes 10-20% and then boom right after the 28th just a massive decline. I've looked at some competitors pages and it seems like their reach dropped right around the same time. I'm guessing they went back to their old ways of reach for a bit then dropped it back to 1-2%

hmm that is quite odd. I haven't heard anything about them tweaking their reach. I haven't noticed a change in my page but it wold be good to know if anyone else has heard anything.

How did you get 8,517 new likes in a day?

That's not new likes. That's the reach. I'm getting about 1200 fans a day from 50$. Yes, also I believe once I hit 10,000 the reach dropped as well. Not sure what is going on but really sick of facebook. Luckily i'm growing multi-platforms but I have to say facebook has turned into one of the worst places to grow a brand if you were not in it before the change.

I just breached above 10k likes today and my reach is getting decreased, as well. Although its strange because it says that around 7k people currently talking about this. I will keep maintaining my page but will start building an email list so I can reach everyone without paying more than I paid already. I recommend you do it too.

Interesting, it looks like for a few days they changed their November 2013 position, then quickly said "Aww screw it, let's screw them anyways".

This video explains how people are in a catch 22. Especially if you buy legitimate Facebook likes (via FB ads).

I have noticed a dramatic loss in reach as well, went from 50k-100k reach on a post to seeing maybe 20k sometimes as low as 2-3k reach per post now

Sounds like a manual hard way. How does it work? Is it something spamming to all FB groups or pages?

I believe that paid reach can still be useful if you're targeting correct interest and audiences.

I'm still using custom audiences and it works great even people are talking about getting banned because of TOS custom audience.

nah.. still making $$$ using custom audiences. specially Custom Audience Lookalike
