Just trying to get my head around youtube marketing, can anyone give me some examples of how to create videos when you don't want to be in the video and you don't have something to create videos about (like a supercar) ???

Trying to figure out CPA/youtube/list building!

Thanks!

First, get some stock media such as royalty free videos, pictures, graphics and clipart. Then get a decent USP mic to record your voice. Use audio as the main content and the stock media to supplement and accent your audio content.

You can use a video camcorder to record plenty of things without you being on camera.

Also none of the following requires you to be in the video:
    Animations
    Slideshows
    Whiteboards
    Screen captures

You can also use videos other people make, such as:

Creative Commons videos - Youtube has a search feature in their video editor that lets you use videos other people have given permission to use. Curate the best on a subject, add your own revenue generating video to the Creative Commons video you created. This can be a simple image that says something like, "For more great dog training tips, click here", then send them to a page on your own site with dog training related affiliate products, optin forms and/or CPA offers.

Playlists - Any video you can watch on Youtube (that isn't private or unlisted) you can use to create playlists. Youtube likes people that curate content and this trend seems to becoming even more so.

Find the best videos on any topic, edit the start and end times as needed, and add them to a YT playlist. Create some simple videos of your own to get get subscribers to your channel, as well as include links to your website using YT's annotation and associated account feature.

Think of having a bunch of really good videos on a particular topic, then adding in just a few short videos of your own that are sort of like a "commercial". Also, these videos of your's can be simple videos where you record your voice and talk about upcoming videos in your playlists. A great source of content is to simply talk about other content.

If you have an adsense account and some budget, here's a method that works:
-> Create a video that's bound to go viral (check youtube which viral videos have many views). Make the title catchy to increase clicks for your video.
-> Make sure to have monetization turned on (should be default if you have adsense)
-> Upload it and use adwords to promote it. Set your budget at $10/day for 10 days
-> You'll get loads of views, and once your video goes viral the views will come automatically because it will show in the sidebar of other videos with many views.
-> Watch the money come in, rinse and repeat with new video.

    Hope this helps!

    Jex,

I would suggest that you consider getting access to the High Voltage Video Forum section on WF. There really is some valuable information on there.

    Good luck.
