Issues with FB Event Marketing

I am looking to set up weekly entertainment events targeting 1500 people who are in a particular group on FB.

I have tried creating two profiles for my company and adding people from this group with good success (40 new friends in 2 hours) but FB keeps blocking me for verification of their identities (name this picture, phone verification etc.) because it knows what I'm up to.

I can't just create a FB business page because I wouldn't be able to create events.

Anyone have a way around this?

I have been thinking either:
  • Go through the FB verification (set up additional numbers for SMS verification, have another laptop open to identify people for that test etc.) but would FB keep making me do this?
  • Switch to a "rep" model where I get members of the group to invite fellow group members to the events in exchange for a % of their door. The issue with this is that it is very expensive; I'm not even sure if my books could take it.

Any and all suggestions welcome

    Anyone have any thoughts?

    Two additional brainwaves I had:
    • Make it a public event and give people incentives to share/comment to get attention of friends
    • Suggest people to be friends with my page (unsure if I can do this if I'm not friends with the targets though?)

    Actually you CAN create a facebook event by using a FanPage.

    Look at the little drop down arrow at the top right of Facebook. It will give you the option to "use facebook as pagename". Click that, go back to the news feed and then click on events

      How could I attract these people to this page? If I post it in the group I fear I might get banned
