1. Should I create a separate page for each product I want to sell?

2. Should I create a business page recommending different products?

3. Should I advertise an affiliate link to the product that I want to sell?

You should create your business page having fresh content and share it among your friends. You need to add content to your page so that your fans have something to interact with and so that they see your brand in their news feeds

You can use keywords from people’s profiles to target your advertising at relevant demographics,

Join some relevant Facebook groups and maybe even create a few. This will allow more people to see your brand, giving you the chance to build a fan base without paying for advertising.

Yup, you should definitely have a fanpage first and foremost.

Then, it comes down to what your goals are.

Want sales? Then set up ads that direct to your external site, which can be a landing page or straight to your own specific product/service.

The best way to promote your product on Facebook-
Create a Page to post about your business and products. As you know, there are now more than 1 billion users of Facebook worldwide. This is a huge opportunity to market your products to a wider audience. By creating a Page, you can post information about your business.

Create online contests to attract prospective customers. Aside from suggesting your Page to your friends, you can systematically ensure the increase in the number of your Page likers by creating online contests.

Post visually appealing online posters or teasers about your products. When you already have a significant number of likers which are also the prospective customers, you can post online poster or teasers that are visually appealing. In this way, you can always ensure that they will view whatever your update is.

Give discounts to loyal customers. One way to ensure the patronage of your customers is through giving of discounts. You can post about it on your Page so the other prospective customers would think about becoming a loyal customer. In this way, you can ensure the increase in the number of your loyal customers.

  • Bigfoot12,

If your business is into selling weight loss-related affiliate products in the tone and style that's shown by the site in your signature, then these are the things that I recommend, based on closely similar campaigns that we've done for our clients:

A: No, judging from the tone and style that's shown by your site...

A: Yes, and these are the other things that I recommend --

*** STEP 1. Set up a professional looking Facebook page. Create a custom welcome tab in your Facebook page, so users who are yet to be your fans will be directed to your custom welcome tab...

*** STEP 2. Create a compelling opt-in offer (an ebook or anything that will be beneficial to your target audience). Develop an attention-grabbing introductory video for your business. Include this in an effective copy with an attention-grabbing headline, a brief yet enticing description and a compelling call to action message that tells your target audience what to do so as to get your opt-in offer...

*** STEP 3. Integrate an opt-in form along with your copy (headline, brief description, call to action and video) into the custom welcome tab of your Facebook page. Use an attention-grabbing image and thumbnail icon...

*** STEP 4. Post beneficial content in your Facebook page (quick tips, pieces of advice, videos and so on). Post your softsell copies with attention-grabbing headlines, enticing descriptions, brief video reviews and compelling call to action messages, along with attention-grabbing images and thumbnail icons. Link your call to action messages to longer versions of your affiliate product reviews with buyer testimonials in your site. Strike a balance between non-marketing and marketing posts -- Your marketing posts should be clearly visible and should be balanced out by your non-marketing posts, so your Facebook page won't look like the advertising section of an e-magazine...

*** STEP 5. Find niche-related Facebook pages and Facebook groups with active user participation. Extract the UIDs (user IDs) of the fans and members of those Facebook pages and Facebook groups. Use those UIDs to create a custom audience in Facebook Power Editor. Set up a Facebook ad campaign with a fixed daily / weekly / monthly budget that won't put you in a complete state of poverty. Create compelling right-column and news feed Facebook ads for your opt-in offer. Your right-column and news feed Facebook ads should be linked to your Facebook page -- Your Facebook ads should have an attention-grabbing headline, a brief yet enticing description, an enticing video and a compelling call to action message along with an attention-grabbing image / thumbnail icon. Your Facebook ads should take your target audience to your opt-in form, so they can get your offer by subscribing to your mailing list.

** Use your custom audience as the target audience of your Facebook ads. Implement other relevant target audience filtering options, such as age, gender, country and so on...

*** STEP 6. Track your results. Improve the things that are working well for your campaign, and stop doing the things that aren't giving you the results you want...

A: You can either directly use an affiliate link for your marketing posts in your Facebook page, or links that point to more in-depth content materials in your site -- Test it out and see what works best for you and your campaign...

Feel free to send me a PM in case you have some questions regarding the things above...
