Trademark Issue With Facebook
The problem was, they couldn't tell me exactly what the trademark dispute was. They asked me to identify the trademarked content on the site, and I could only assume that it was the domain name itself that was the problem.
The law about the trademark only applies to somebody pretending to be Facebook, which anyone could see that I wasn't trying to do, and it leaves a very vague dark area there where with a bit of pressure from Facebook, or any other company, a site could be forced to shut down or remove pages for offering a service to do with another company.
I offer Facebook page design, Facebook Ads management, cover photos, custom tabs, likes, views, shares, post shares, post likes, subscribers, etc, pretty much everything that can be done on all the big sites, and if they all start to pursue these sort of trademark complaints, there could be millions of sites at risk.
Anyway, Go Daddy hosting was incredibly unhelpful, I couldn't figure out how to back up my home directory files, and as a result I lost all of my photos on two of my sites when I moved them to Host Gator.
