Using Instagram to Promote Something

Did you try promoting something through Instagram? Instagram is a photo sharing website. It allows you to post links on image comment/description but those links are not clickable. In my case, I do put my website link on image comment/description plus saying that in order to check the link, you must click it in my profile. You think I'm doing the right thing?

I guess Instagram is really best for those people who wants to sell stuffs online, be it clothes, shoes, etc. I saw many doing this. In my case, I do have a food blog and the idea of having Instagram account would be a great help for my blog. Moreover, I share also my instagram posts on Facebook and Twitter.

Any thoughts about using instagram to promote something?

    I would disagree that "Instagram is really best for those people who wants to sell stuffs online". Both Facebook and Twitter is better for advertising and promoting products for one simple reason - they have more users and you can reach more people, more potential clients.
